How to Assess a Job Offer and Stay Motivated in Your New Job

£97.00 (excluding VAT)

Proteus 1 Hr PCS

If you’ve got this far: congratulations! You have succeeded in being disciplined and motivated to help your career transition. If you have the job offer in writing you can really start thinking about your new life.

By this stage, if you’ve been through one of the Proteus career programmes with your consultant, you will have the tools and self-knowledge to help you as you begin your new – and hopefully much desired – job. You will have given thought to the travel, salary and whether the team, role and environment suit your personality type and career drivers. It’s time to give these aspects a last review. Don’t forget, often what makes us start something isn’t what keeps us doing it.

Of course, don’t forget to accept the offer with thanks and leave your last role with good grace. Tempting as it can be to burn bridges, you never know when you might need a contact, or might have to recruit a former colleague!

This session covers the following topics:

  1. Think About The Physical Aspects Of The Appointment
  2. Remember To Accept The Offer
  3. Manage Your Career Continuously
  4. Proactively Manage Your Working Environment

This session is available in two versions including the one outlined above. Version 2 includes a formal means of comparing the physical aspects of the new post with your ideal.

Version 2: Objective Job Evaluation
