So many people ask themselves, “What do I want to do?” Our research – and common sense – shows only a minority of people work in jobs and careers they actively sought. The vast majority fell into their careers by accident, through a chance contact or a temporary job that developed into permanent. Years later they and their circumstances have changed and can’t decide what they want. If that is you, don’t worry we’re here to help.
This session with one of our experienced career consultants can help you: with a professional listening ear; practical guidance and useful support materials. We offer two versions of this session, depending on whether you choose to include the in-depth homework. This session covers the following topics:
- Consider How People Normally Decide On A Career
- Define Your Career Objective
- Make Your Career Objective Happen
- Share Your Ideas With A Mentor
- Follow-up phone call with your Consultant
Session 2: Subjects I know something about.
You may also wish to consider supplementing this 1- or 2-hour Career Support Session with a full Career Planning Programme which will enable you to take your personality into account in terms of your future career direction. It involves a 50-page personal report about you, several additional assignments and six hours of professional one-to-one support.
